CONCRETE STRENGTH CLASSES

From C8/10
to C100/115.

Our range of standard and high-strength concrete.

UNDERSTANDING STRENGTH

What does the class
designation mean?

The two numbers in a C strength class indicate characteristic compressive strength measured on standard cylinder and cube specimens. For example, C30/37 means 30 MPa for cylinders and 37 MPa for cubes.

Besantaş produces concrete in classes ranging from C8/10 to C100/115. The appropriate class is determined by the structural design and application requirements.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION

Considerations beyond strength.

01

Consistency

Fresh concrete properties suited to the transport, pumping and placement method.

02

Aggregates

Particle size assessed alongside reinforcement spacing and placement conditions.

03

Environmental exposure

Technical requirements based on the conditions the concrete will face throughout its service life.
